Progress!
I’ve gained about 6 pounds in the last 2 weeks of my bulking regimen. 6 pounds as a conservative estimate – I’ve gone from maybe 142 to 152 on the same scale. For the first time in my life, I now weigh above 150.
The only things I don’t like about my current workout are that I only spend 3 days in the gym lifting and that because I am bulking, I have to eat a ridiculous amount of food and protein to keep up with the growth. Keeping at least 150 g of protein and 4000 calories a day takes more effort than expected. And because of this bulking, I am losing visibility in my abs.
I make up for the lack of abs in mass and bigger triceps than before. Oh, and an extra inch that I didn’t notice I put on my calves. Progressively heavy low squats with good form every single workout explain that.
Progress pictures taken in the last couple days:

I’ve got a long way to go to get where I want to be, but I feel like it’ll be worth it in the end.

Hubba hubba, B! Daaaang!
My abs are none existence :[ Looking at the results of your work out regime makes me want to get fit again. I used to have these really cute tiny tricep looking things and really nice shoulders from lifting 5-lb dumbells over my head now its all covered in fat. :[
Muscle is extremely hard to put on. 6 pounds in 2 weeks is very impressive!!
For an extra protein boost, I hear a hard boiled egg or two in the morning works great because the yolk also contains an ingredient that helps convert it into exactly what you need for building muscle and burning fat at the same time. I used to know the name of it, I believe it starts with “l.” Good luck!

Thanks, KP!

Haha I do my best! I’m sure Princess appreciates my workout.
And I do have before/after pictures from a while back. I’m making progress.
Here’s a link to my bodyspace, actually. It’s something like a blog. I’ve recently decided to start keeping up with it more. The link is to the progress picture page.

D’awww, thanks.
I’m going to keep working on it! >:D

Thanks
I’m only 5’6.5″ >.> I could use a couple more inches of height… and yeah, the eating is definitely challenging. Sometimes I have to bring my music with me to the cafeteria just to be able to finish my food. >.>

Work in progress, M! Reading about you working out motivates me to head to the gym even more!

Hrm. I would totally give that a shot if I had a kitchen in my dorm. I usually wake up to a protein shake these days. x] I plan on adding as much muscle as I can in the next month and a half, at least, before cutting back down on calories.
Thanks for the tip!

GET ON IT! It’s never a bad idea to get fit!

Week 1 to Week 5 difference is WHOA. I gotta get on that too. One of these days….one of these days…xD
Hopefully after this week. March 1 will mark the end of my having to pay attention to anything but class. I’ll have sooo much free time then. =D
Impressive! Hopefully you do find it worthwhile once you reach your goal. I really can’t picture you gaining anymore weight or anything of the like because you look great as is– but that’s just me. xD

Yeah! Everyone can use some nice exercise and resistance training. It keeps us healthier and sturdier.

Aw, I appreciate the kind words. I do think that I look okay now, but I feel like there is so much more room for improvement. I think it will be very worth it someday!
I’m going to be honest with you, even though I probably shouldn’t. Haha. When I was first saw this, my reaction was ” DAMNNN. He’s fine”. Haha. So in that case something is working.
So moving away from how good you look, which is hard. Lols. My nurse eyes came into focus. I do see a constant progess, and your triceps are starting to be more muscular. And it is normal for you to lose the look of the abs, it’s cause you aren’t concentrating on that area like you were before.

Hahaha I told my girlfriend that my goal (in frivolous terms) is to make her look at me the same way other girls look at Taylor Lautner while being more body proportional than he is. And I work hard toward my goal.
Mhmm, I also think boosting my caloric intake wayyyy into the surplus end means I’m going to put in some of that inevitable fat while I bulk up. It shall melt off when I start cutting down. (Hopefully.) Thanks for reading.
@B2yan_C - Haha. You do remind me of Taylor Lautner. And of course you’re taken, all the hot men in this world are taken!
